Overview

BRTSys’ PanL Room Manager (PRM) is an innovative room booking solution allowing users to book room resources at the touch of a button. PRM enables organizations to automatically manage room bookings and better utilise room resources within their estates.

The main components of the PRM system are the PD100 display PanL which provides booking reservation details along with easily identifiable visual cues for available rooms on premises, and the PanL Hub80 which can control up to 8 displays.

On-the-spot booking is supported and can be easily achieved for any available room resource via the integrated RFID reader on the PD100 display or user assigned passcode.

Software

Outlook Add-in

Included in the PanL Room Manager (PRM) Software package provided to customers directly (Contact us for more information), the Microsoft Outlook Add-in enables users to perform room bookings within the system from their outlook desktop application.

Description 

The Microsoft Outlook Add-in provides Room Booking functionality to PRM users via Microsoft Outlook, allowing users to book room resources and generate new meetings quickly and efficiently.


The Outlook Add-in includes advanced search functionality for available rooms, the ability to configure required resources for the meeting such as catering or equipment, to add required meeting attendees to meeting invites, and includes the ability to generate recurring meetings.

Integration with your calendaring server allows the Outlook Add-in to generate meeting notifications for attendees in their Outlook calendar, whilst room previews ensure the correct room is booked for any occasion.

Web Management Console

Included in the PanL Room Manager (PRM) Software package provided directly to customers (Contact us for more information), the Web Management Console (WMC) is designed to allow administrative users complete control over the PRM system.

Description 

The WMC enables configuration of system users as well as booking policy management on user group basis.


Location and hardware resource management allows administrators control over the buildings/locations/floors/rooms included in the system as well as configuration of the PanL Hub80’s and PD100 displays enabling their assignment to a given room. Catering and equipment resources can be managed and assigned to specific rooms via the WMC.


Microsoft Outlook and calendar server integration is managed within the WMC along with firmware updates for associated hardware devices. Statistics on a variety of parameters including room usage are available allowing administrators to monitor system utilisation.
