The LDSBus USB Adapter is ideal for application development with RS485 devices such as LDSBus and Modbus. It provides an easy and straightforward method to interface RS485 devices to a PC running Windows or Linux or to an Embedded System such as RaspberryPi and supports communication rates up to 230Kbaud.
The adapter can work as a USB powered device and power a single RS485 device over the RJ12 port (5V) or power an entire RS485 bus over the RJ45 port. In this case, the DC jack allows attachment of a 24VDC adapter to provide additional power to RS485 devices.
